The CEO of the Isfahan Oil Refining Company announced the first torch for gas oil refining project was set alight with a capacity of 1000 ( tons per day) in Isfahan Oil Refining Company with the aim of producing Euro 5 gasoil.

Tehran (NIORDC), quoted by Isfahan Refinery Public Relations, Mohsen Ghadiri, the CEO of Isfahan Oil Refining Company, stated "With the efforts of the employees in the project, first torch of this complex with a capacity of 1000 tons per day was launched ". It was used as a prerequisite for setting up the unit.

He continued: "According to the new plan, the first shipment of refined gasoil according to Euro 5 standard will be produced in the near future in gasoil refining units."

 With the launch of the gasoil refinery unit of Isfahan refinery, 100,000 barrels per day  gasoil according Euro 5 standard will be produced and 300 tons of sulfur will be removed from the gasoil produced by Isfahan refinery and Sulfur concentrations in gasoil range from 6,000 PPM to less than 10 PPM.
