Tehran, NIORDC- Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company won the global green management award by the feed change of the viscosity reduction unit and evaluating the green results based on the calculation of the carbon effect project  and the environmental results of the implementation of this project.

Hashem Namvar, the CEO of  Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company, said: This project, which was evaluated by the Global Green Management Association with EAST logic in four environmental, economic, social and new technological indicators. It increased the refining capacity in this refinery by 30,000 barrels per day  with no investment and just  by making changes in equipment and processes.

Hashem Namvar added: The green management award was given to this project due to the approaches of reducing the emission of environmental pollutants, reducing resource consumption, designing a green process unit in projects and environmental impact assessment (EIA) and using new technologies.

The CEO of  Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company, said: Preventing environmental pollution, improving the quality of fuel oil in the refinery and reducing sulfur, increasing productivity, optimizing energy consumption, creating the necessary platforms for the training of specialists and creating confidence for domestic production, are among the other achievements of this implementation.
