TEHRAN (NIORDC) __ The CEO of Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company said the production plan of gas hydrochloric acid of the refinery was honored as the top Iranian product at the 5th National Festival of Top Iranian Products.
According to the Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company, Hashem Namvar said: "Refinery hydrochloric acid is one of the important requirements in launching the isomerization section of the gasoline and gasoil production enhancement and quality improvement project."
He said the item was previously imported from abroad and with the efforts of the refinery"s specialists and using the facilities and capacities of the refinery, the acid was produced for the first time in the country with special specifications of refining industries and high purity.
Namvar added: "The project of producing hydrochloric acid  in Bandar Abbas Oil Refinery was a unique project that, in addition to cutting dependence on foreign countries, caused economic savings and accelerated implementation of refining processes.
It is worth mentioning that in the 5th National Festival of Top Iranian Products, which was held at Sharif University of Technology in Tehran with the aim of enhancing production and supporting domestic innovations; the country"s major industrial and service companies introduced their innovative products at the event.
