TEHRAN Iranian Minister of Petroleum Javad Owji said plans are under way to bring the country’s refining capacity to 3.5 million barrels per day from currently 2.2 mbd within the next 4 to 5 years.
TEHRAN (NIORDC) Development of the CNG industry and the increase in consumption of the fuel, in addition to strengthening the opportunity to export Iranian petrol and helping to maintain its export markets, is also effective in managing energy consumption in the country.
Commodity Commercial Manager of Isfahan Oil Refining Company said: Isfahan Refinery supplied 80% of its parts from domestic companies and industries.
TEHRAN (NIORDC) – The National Iranian Oil Products Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) said Iran exported a total of 8.5 million tons of petroleum products last calendar year which ended on March 20, of which 7 million tons was petrol, representing 82.5 percent of the total exports of petroleum products.
The Minister of Oil, stating that the construction of oil refineries is one of the priorities of the Ministry of Oil, said: "Today in the world, they do not seek the construction of oil refineries, but invest in the construction of oil refineries."
