Venezuela Announced Readiness to Export Gasoline to Iran

8/16/2010 Venezuelan ambassador to Iran said his country was ready to export gasoline to the Islamic Republic whenever Tehran asked for. Elaborating on the possibility of gasoline sale to Iran by Venezuelan government after the US unilateral sanctions, Venezuelan ambassador to Iran, David N. Velasquez Caraballo said that "we are at Irans service and whenever Tehran asks for, we will supply the country with fuel." Referring to statements made by Chavez in his recent visit to Iran on readiness of Venezuela to export 20,000 barrels of gasoline to Iran per day, he said that sanctions could not make any ban on the way of fuel exports to the Islamic Republic. Caraballo also invited Iranian companies and investors to attend a tourism exhibition to be held in Caracas from September 9 to 12. He said that certain Venezuelan media people will attend Irans 17th International Press Festival and Exhibition. He also confirmed Irans right to have nuclear energy.
